For the past several years I have been focusing on medical opto-mechatronics. Previously, I had been engaged with consulting projects in radiotherapy equipment, vision and metrology systems, steerable optical instrumentation design, surgical minimally invasive instrumentation and optical diagnostic tools. Add to this list the laser fiber coupling, microfluidic cassettes and instrumentation, R&D equipment design, precision mechanisms and robotics, injection molding and extrusion tooling and part design, sterilization of injection molded parts, vibration/FFT diagnostics, structural, thermal, CFD and modal FEA analyses, laser position sensing, infrared thermometry, EMI/EMC containment, controls and system design and diagnostics, semiconductor tools and wafer/disc processing equipment, CNC and conventional machining.
